Job Title: Assistant Controller

Collaboration with Owners, Chief Operating Officier, Distiller and Front of House Manager to help manage the operation

• Accounting Lead – month end/quarter end/year end closings
• Sales & margin analysis
• Location and profitability analysis
• Inventory & COGS
• Cash Flow
• Pricing
• Analytics
• Cost control
• Financial Reporting: P&L, balance sheet, debt, cash flow, sales and expense drivers
• Financial Planning: budget, forecast, proforma, long term plan
• Financial systems lead

Accounting and Payroll Manager – overall ownership of the following

• A/R, A/P and Inventory
• Federal & State taxes
• Licensing Compliance
• Monthly closings
• Payroll & Benefits
• FOH revenue & cash management Other: HR documentation, compliance, financial systems

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 4-5 years experience in financial management and/or accounting Preferred Skills
• Hands-on day-to-day accounting
• Quickbooks On-Line (required)
• Bill.com Accounts Payable (required)
• Inventory control and management
• Familiarity with Paychex Payroll a plus
• Alcohol beverage industry experience a plus
• Customer service, friendly, outgoing
• Proactive/Positive mindset
• Attention to detail
• Organized and attention to detail
• Tech savvy
• Ability to embrace change, adapt quickly, and wear multiple hats
• Team player with good communication skills
